Claudia

Registered Dental Hygienist

My primary duty is helping our patients achieve and maintain optimum oral health. We know a healthy mouth is the gateway to overall health. In addition to the technical aspect of being a hygienist, I like getting to know patients and their families and watching the kids grow. I have worked for Dr. Hussey since 1988, which has allowed me to get to know many patients and for them to know me as well. Dr. Hussey is a kind, caring, giving man. He also has incredible clinical skills and is a perfectionist when it comes to dentistry.

I have two daughters and sons-in-law, and four beautiful granddaughters. I am very proud of all of them. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, weekend getaways, reading, traveling, and attending my grandkids’ activities. I have also been an active member of the ADHA for many years.

Financial Assistant

I try to make each patient feel comfortable, try to get to know them, and help make their visits fun. It’s also important for me to really listen to their needs. I love working with our great team of women and a great doctor. Dr. Hussey is a very good dentist, very easy to be around, and very ethical. This office is always upbeat, and we love to have fun theme days for our patients. 

My husband, Irwin, and I have six children, 11 grandchildren, and one cat named Kitty. In my free time, I enjoy running marathons and triathlons, skiing, hiking, and reading. I am also a member of the Edmonds Historical Society.

Registered Dental Hygienist, Restorative Hygienist

I cater to my patients’ needs in a compassionate way, while also being a very thorough hygienist. I like to take the time to teach my patients proper oral care and overall good health. Being a licensed health care professional allows me to keep people healthy and happy, and I love to make my patients smile. Dr. Hussey is a kind-hearted and generally loving man. He is a lifelong learner always looking to enrich himself and his team with continuing education. I love my job; it is my home away from home.

I have two Italian greyhound dogs named Jade and Jasmine. I am a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association, and I volunteer with Medical Teams International. In my free time I enjoy snowboarding and wakeboarding, music and art, Seahawks and Huskies football, traveling, and of course, shopping!

Lead Chairside Assistant

Over the 11 years I have been with Dr. Hussey, I have come to really love our family of patients, both old and new. I enjoy keeping up with their lives and helping them on their journeys to good oral health. My patients are like my family. I treat them with empathy, compassion and comfort. Dr. Hussey is the BEST dentist ever! I take pride in working for a doctor who does quality, beautiful, painless dentistry. Not only that, but he is a kind, patient man which makes my job as a dental assistant easier and keeps my patients relaxed and feeling at home. I enjoy hearing our patients rave about their experience.

My husband’s name is Mic, and I have a daughter named Nakayla and a step-son named Wyatt. We also have two dogs, Izzy and Ann. I like spending time with family and friends, traveling, exercising, and cruising with my husband in our boat. I also enjoy riding horses with my childhood best friend.

Lead Invisalign® Assistant/Front Office

I love getting to know my patients throughout their treatments. I enjoy building relationships with my Invisalign patients who I see consistently through their treatments. I love to watch their teeth change and get to know them on a personal level as well. I find it so rewarding to watch their confidence transform. I love who I work for, and who I work with; this is just the best job ever! Dr. Hussey is a perfectionist, and he has been doing dentistry for a long time, but he still stays up-to-date on all the newest techniques by attending continuing education and teaching at the UW dental school. His patients love him and I do too! I enjoy working for someone who treats his staff and his patients with utmost respect and the highest quality of care.

My husband, Randy, and I have been married for nine years. We have two beautiful daughters, Preslee and Holland. I love spending quality time with my family, playing with my girls, shopping, antiquing, serving at my church, and taking summer vacations to Texas.

Helen

Office Manager

I roam around the office a lot and I love to spend time visiting with long-time patients and getting to know new patients. Watching generations come through our practice over the years has been a joy, and visiting with our patients is the highlight of my day. I enjoy putting all the special touches in here to make it a warm, inviting, comfortable atmosphere for our patients. Decorating for special holidays is my favorite! Dr. Hussey and I have been working hard together as a team for all these years to develop a fabulous practice!

Dr. Hussey and I have been married for 47 years. We have three grown children, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two Bichon Frises and a black lab that are like our family. When I have free time I enjoy floral arranging and decorating, attending football games, vacationing, and serving in our church and the chamber of commerce.

I love working with people and seeing a smile transformed into something truly beautiful. It is rewarding to feel I have truly made a difference in the life of a patient. I enjoy working for Dr. Hussey, not only because he's my dad, but because he is a truly gifted dentist. I love working for someone who does quality dentistry and produces results that make our patients happy. He is so pleasant to his patients and staff, loves what he does for a living, and takes pride in his work. Our staff is like a big family, and you will often hear laughter coming from our office.

I’ve been married for 10 years to my high school sweetheart, and we have one kitty named Theo. I enjoy investing in the lives of my nieces and nephews and spending time with them. When I have time, I love photography, vacationing, taking long drives with my husband in our convertible Mustang, watching football, pageant judging, and attending church in my hometown.
